Users-Citrix Receiver Keeps Disappearing

Reported Issue:
The Citrix icon disappears from desktop and not in Windows Start menu Citrix Applications Folde
Error Message Samples:
None - Citrix Icon just gone
Root Cause:
Unknown
Solution:
1. Click on the Start Menu on the bottom left-hand corner

2. Open the Citrix Folder not the Citrix Applications Folder

3. Click on the Receiver icon in the Citrix Folder
a. this will push the Citrix Receiver Icon back onto your desktop
4. Then go to the Citrix Receiver in your System Tray on the bottom right hand corner next to Wi-Fi, Battery, Date, Time and Notifications

5. Right Click on the Citrix Receiver icon and select About

6. Expand Advanced and select Online Plug-in Settings

7. Select Refresh Applications wait one minute
a. usually less than a minute

8. Select OK
a. This will push EAM into the Start Menu Citrix Applications Folder
9. Verify the Citrix Receive is on your Desktop
10. Verify EAM is in your Start Menu Citrix Applications Folder
11. If this did not resolve the disappearing Citrix issue contact the IT Service Desk
a. The Citrix Specialist may need to reimage the EAM User’s Citrix Id
