On Boarding Instructions
- Create a new user in AD
- Reference completed UAF (and SRF if provided)
- Check and make sure username doesn’t already exist. (Check UAT and all AD Domains)
- Assign a unique userID which will be used for all other IT systems if possible
- Create or copy AD user object in proper domain. (NAMERICA or LWENG )
- Set username to proper domain extension IE (username@autokinton, @axiseingeer.com etc. If not specially specified in UAF default @autokiniton)
- Set password & check box “Must change password at next account and uncheck “Account disabled”
- Open properties of new created object
- Under “General tab” > Description: add site code - TC1US, AUBUS, BLVUS
- Under “General” tab > E-mail: add full address - <userid>@autokiniton.com
- Under “Member of” tab: Add the approved security groups listed on UAF
- Under “Attribute Editor” tab > Proxyaddress > Enter: “SMTP:<UserID>@autokiniton.com”
- Under “Attribute Editor” tab > extensionattribute13 & 14 > Add users full email address
2.Assign a O365 license to user
- Open browser and go to portal.office.com
- Login with your 99 account
- On left hand side: admin
- On left hand side: users > active users
- Search the user and click on the display name
- Click on licenses and assign “Office 365 E3” and hit save
3.Create Home Folder
- Navigate to UNC Drive > “Site” > “Home Drive” > Create folder as “userid” for the name.
- Right click on the folder > Properties > Security Tab > Give the user Modify access.
- **Some sites are not under UNC. Usually use \\sitecodeFP\users$\ IE \\chiusFP\users$
4.Send Credentials to manger/lead, HR, and local tech
5.Create any accounts for applications mentioned in UAF and/or push any applications.
**Applications that need to be done on 2nd day after employee starts.**
